WULFE® heat pumps –
energy efficient water heater
WULFE® hot water heaters use heat pump technology that offers up to 71%* energy savings compared to conventional water heaters. Produced by the world's largest appliance manufacturer, they have been proven in temperatures as low as -7°C.
The system has been certified by the Australian Government Clean Energy Regulator, which allows customers to claim government rebates and reduces their investment.
The WULFE® HP series has an advanced control system that is easy to use and can be programmed to maximise the use of solar power systems while ensuring a constant supply of hot water. It also features an automatic sanitisation function to keep your family safe from waterborne bacteria.
With its quiet operation, smart controls, UV protection, and government rebates, WULFE® is the perfect choice for an energy-efficient home.

Enjoy free hot water –
powered by your solar PV system
WULFE® is the perfect partner for your roof top solar system.

The WULFE® heat pump is made by the world’s largest appliance manufacturer and is made to European and Australian standards — it is the world’s biggest selling heat pump, as rated by Euromonitor.
The WULFE® system has been manufactured for over a decade and has been sold in China, Europe and now in Australia and New Zealand. It is a very mature product and has excellent reliability.
-
The WULFE® system is equipped with a timer that can be programmed to only run during daylight hours, thus making full use of your free energy. The highly insulated storage tank will keep the stored water hot overnight, ready for hot showers in the morning.
-
The average family in Australia spends approximately $900 per year on water heating as defined by Australian Standards. Installing a WULFE® will save you around $650 per year if you don’t have solar power and a whopping $850 if you use the free energy that you are producing if you have solar power installed.
-
Once your installer programs that system for you, there is nothing for you to do as it literally controls itself. Even sanitation of the tank, to guard against legionella, is automatic. Just set and forget. If you need to change any settings to suit your usage pattern, there are instructional videos on this website.
-
WULFE® heat pumps are similar to a split air conditioning system and make a similar amount of noise. Whilst daytime operation is never a noise issue, any noise at night can be problematic so we always recommend using the systems timers to limit running hours between 6am and 10pm to ensure that neighbours are not affected.
-
Just ask your plumber, as WULFE® heat pumps are available from all Plumbing Plus outlets Australia wide. Go to plumbingplus.com.au/member-locator to find your nearest stockist and their friendly staff will recommend an installer.
-
At WULFE®, we understand that many regions in Australia have poor water quality that will affect anode life and ultimately lead to premature tank failure. This is why all WULFE® systems come with 2 full length anodes for maximum protection.
